In 1981, my mother, Ingrid Strange, set up a one-window retail display in a small shop that was owned by a close friend in Daleville, Alabama. Little did we know that Ingrid's Jewelers would grow to become what it is today. I'm proud to live in the Wiregrass area of Southern Alabama. My parents made their home here after my father Jerry retired from the U.S. Army. Daleville, Alabama is the Gateway to Fort Rucker and the home of Army Aviation. The U.S. Army has been our family for many years. Every day when a Fort Rucker Soldier visits the Castle, I'm reminded how great this country is because it produces such great American citizens.
